Workshop on Climate Change and Human Health in Odisha

Organized in collaboration with Odisha State Disaster Management Authority (OSDMA) and Indian Institute Public Health Bhubaneswar. The workshop deliberated on the research study; ‘Climate Adaptive Action Plans to Manage Heat Stress in Indian Cities’, detailing the preliminary findings of the study which were derived from the field survey done in Bhubaneswar city to analyze the impact of heat stress on health, livelihood and productivity of the vulnerable populations and stressed on the need of prioritizing the heat action plans at city level.
