IRADe co-organised South Asia Heat Health Summit, at IITM, Pune on 14th February 2020 in association with Global Heat Health Information Network, the Indian Institute of Tropical Meteorology and others to build capacity, promote sharing and encourage evidence-based policy and actions to improve the management of extreme heat risks. IRADe Deputy Director Mr. Rohit Magotra and Senior Advisor Dr. Ajit Tyagi made lead presentations on “Local Interventions in South Asia: Impact of heat stress on Livelihoods, productivity, and Health” and on ” Urban Heat Hotspots: Case study of Rajkot City, India” in the sessions on Local Interventions in South Asia and Impacts, Hotspots and Information.
